As team members, we love what we do, and we’re always looking to push the boundaries of tech. We’re passionate about giving back and supporting underrepresented groups with opportunities and resources to break into the industry.

Better begins today

University of Queensland

Launched in 2023, Entain proudly partnered with the University of Queensland to fund four scholarships that support women in tech undergoing financial hardship. This opportunity also affords recipients to receive mentorship and networking opportunities to launch them into their tech career.

Connectathon

In 2022, Entain Australia launched its first Connectathon in collaboration with Indigitek, Women in Digital, UQ Ventures and Coder Academy. Aimed at helping to break down barriers faced by women, connect Indigenous and First Nations people with careers in tech and create an accessible gaming solutions! Over four days, pitch teams heard from an array of leaders in the technology and gaming industry. They had the opportunity to connect with peers, future colleagues and industry bodies aiming to inspire, empower and inform attendees on how to build a sustainable career in our industry.

Mater Foundation

Serving as our primary charity partner, we're thrilled to be continuing out strong relationship and help fund cancer related research and more. We've worked closely with Mater Foundation to assist in funding the build of Catherine's House, a peri-natal and post-natal mental health facility. Since joining forces, we've raised an amazing $300k+ with fun internal initiatives including; sponsoring the International Women’s Day Fun Run and encouraging staff participation in the 5km run/jog/walk on the day. We have also had team members cycle over 100km as part of cycle for cancer, from Brisbane to Gold Coast.

Relationships Australia

We donated $100,000 to this critical community organisation to build a First Nations Digital Campaign encouraging safer gambling behaviours in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. In addition, our Responsible Gambling team stay connected with the community by attending events and raising awareness for Player Safety.

Community@Entain

We're passionate about causes that are dear to the hearts of our team members. Established in 2020, the Community@Entain team consists of team members across the country who support charity initiatives in their local communities! From supporting organisations like Life Blood, Share the Dignity, Variety NT to local soup kitchens, we're digging deep and getting involved!

Victoria University of Wellington

To contribute to the future of the women who will shape and create the next wave of cutting-edge technology, we provide scholarships to tertiary institutions to support women towards their tech career. This year we’ve launched a new scholarship opportunity with Victoria University of Wellington for women studying Mathematics, Engineering or Technology. The recipient will also receive a paid internship with Entain NZ to make their contribution towards creating engaging digital products.
