Throughout Australia and New Zealand, Entain's focus has been a sustainable model to strengthen outcomes for all Australian and Kiwi racing stakeholders and participants.
Almost $500 million per year returned to government and industry through tax, product fees and sponsorship in Australia alone. In New Zealand, Entain entered into a 25-year strategic partnership with TAB New Zealand in June 2023, ensuring a minimum of NZ$900 million for New Zealand racing and sporting communities over the next five years to boost the fortunes of these communities.
On top of tax and fee obligations Entain has over 30 industry and club partnerships across thoroughbred, greyhound and harness racing. We’re proud to hold key relationships with some of the best in Australasia including; the Brisbane Racing Club, Moonee Valley Racing Club, Tasracing, Darwin Turf Club, Auckland Thoroughbred Racing, Wellington Racing Club, Cambridge Raceway, New Zealand Bloodstock and the majority of NSW greyhound clubs.
Entain holds key partnerships and sponsorships in every jurisdiction where currently permitted.
In New Zealand, Entain has backed sport through sponsorships with the Warriors NRL team and the Tokomanawa Queens basketball team, as well as multiple initiatives in racing. We’re committed to providing a boost to the racing industry where it counts, and we’ve shown up with breeding incentives for thoroughbred and harness racing, boosting of stakes naming rights and travel schemes for the TAB Karaka Millions, and support of other major races on the New Zealand racing calendar.
